創新及科技局局長薛永恒今日參觀醫療機械人創新技術中心，了解中心如何在InnoHK創新香港研發平台支持下，與業界合作推動跨學科醫療機械人研究，將創新技術轉化為臨床應用。薛永恒觀看以手術機械人進行的屍體實驗，並與研究團隊交談。他很高興看見團隊的科技落地，與業界合作推動本港醫療機械人技術發展，促進診斷治療，同時培育醫療科技初創企業，為有志於醫療科技的年輕人擴闊發展空間。 InnoHK創新香港研發平台推動環球科研合作，至今成功吸引海內外30多所頂尖大學和科研機構合作，在香港科學園設立28間研發實驗室。薛永恒指，推動研發是發展創科的關鍵，也是促進再工業化的重要一環。InnoHK展現香港基礎科研實力雄厚與國際化優勢，推動研發同時着力培育科研人才，推動香港發展為國際創科中心。
